Senior Digital Planner

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Develops strategy and media plans for clients, with an emphasis on digital media. 
  • Supervises and manages media buyers and works with members of account management to set priorities for day-to-day client media requests. 
  • Manages key relationships (media partner and client) by meeting with them or the account service team on a regular basis. 
  • Works directly with media buyers to execute media buying responsibilities, including media partner relations, negotiations and placing contracts, digital media tracking, and analytics. 
  • Understands overall objectives and translates those into marketing communication goals to build effective media plans and achieve client goals. 
  • Develops measurement plans for KPIs and successful campaigns. 
  • Assists in analyzing all media activity to highlight campaign strengths and weaknesses and provide actionable insights on campaign performance with client reports. 
  • Participates in proposal analysis and presentation development for client plans. 
  • Participates in client meetings, strategy sessions, and presentations when needed as a representative of the consumer engagement team. 
  • Gathers, organizes, and presents research when needed.  

Requirements: 

  • Has 5+ years of hands-on experience developing strategy and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, including OTT, CTV, streaming audio, paid social, paid search, and programmatic.  
  • Has an understanding of holistic digital media strategy. 
  • Has a thorough understanding of media best practices. 
  • Is a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving communication and presentation skills. 
  • Is organized and able to handle pressure. 
  • Is able to work with a wide range of people, including clients, salespeople, and internal staff. 
  • Is detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Is good with numbers and can analyze research data to determine best placements.
  • Is proficient in media buying platforms, MRI Simmons/research tools, Excel, Google Campaign Manager, and Basis DSP.
