CHALLENGE

When VCU received its Level 1 Trauma Center accreditation (the only one in the region), there was a huge gap in the public’s understanding of what that meant. It’s for all the serious events you would imagine, but also for some everyday injuries you wouldn’t.

THE MOVE

To make sure people know the Trauma Center was for more than gunshot wounds, we created a campaign showing the top three injuries treated there. Compelling headlines and copy told the story of how everyday thoughts and experiences could easily turn into traumatic events. And if they do, VCU Trauma Center is the place to go.
